Nope, just needed to make room for a different toy.
First time in maybe 15 years I've been down to one Fiero.

Bought a Valkyrie Trike. Although, I would let the 88 Formula 3800SC five speed go if someone wants it for the right money.
Honestly, I have too many toys and really should reduce the fleet some.

In the last 10 days, I've put way too many miles on my butt.
Hattiesburg, MS to Phoenix and back. About 3200 miles total
Hattiesburg, MS to Austin, TX and back. About 1200 miles total,
Hattiesburg, MS to KC, MO and back. About 1500 miles total.

Friday I'm supposed to go to Rickman, TN, pick up a friend then, on to either VA or OH (not sure which) to pick up a milling machine for that friend and bring it back Rickman, TN. Can't say how many miles that will be, not sure where we're going.
Anyone else watching the price of fuel? Yep, it's going up like an Elon Musk rocket.

Rams

A friend's dad is in his mid 80s and still rides a Gullwing. I was pretty impressed. He can get away with it because he's got sizable legs.

I assume you meant Gold Wing. Never heard of a motorcycle called Gullwing.

That's a cool bike, but it has nothing in common with the 300SL. An R100RS is a much better match. I have always loved them.

But the true single track equivalent is of course that which is known (unofficially) as the "/2".

I have a '62 R50/2 laying around the house in pieces.

Not to offend anyone but, if it doesn't have a flat six, I'm not interested in riding it.

Absolutely the best and most reliable engine ever built for a motorcycle.
