Actually that's quite funny if you have heard how the Japanese speak English. Props for speaking two languages but damn it's hard to understand them most of the time. The Chinese and Koreans speak English very well, but not Japanese. I have to ask ATC to repeat their radio calls 5 out of 10 times. I had a Chinese FO try to explain why they speak so poorly. Something about how they have adapted the alphabet to local language rules. All I know is their English pronunciation sucks 90% of the time.
