"I'm not talking about hate. I'm talking about eight-dinner at eight. So let's eat!"~ Firesign Theater.
Was that from "Waiting for the Electrician ..." or "Don't Crush That Dwarf ..." ?
It's not often that a line from a Firesign Theater album lends itself so perfectly to becoming a Topic title, so when the opportunity presents itself, I don't pass it up.
It's about what happened the other day at an upscale restaurant in Carmel Valley, a leisure and resort area on the Pacific Coast, closer to San Francisco than to any other big name city in California.
One of the diners-Table For One, by the looks of it--was the (male) CEO of Solid8--hence, "eight"--which happens to be a San Francisco-based cloud computing services company.
Could be worth a read if you like reading about "upscale guys" behaving badly. If that isn't enough, there are clues here to look for video content on YouTube or other such venues.

File this under Slice of Life. (I've wasted more than enough time on it.)
I used the "Politics" checkbox, out of an abundance of caution.
