Does anyone know of a web search engine that lets you build a search to run every day? eBay has a nice ‘saved search’ feature that emails you the update and indicates ‘5 new hits today’ so I was hoping for something like that. Wikipedia has a search engine list that is a mile long so I thought I'd query you guys before trying every one

run a search in whatever engine/browser.

Save it as a bookmark.

Open it and hit "refresh" every day. It will update on the refresh.

(Or at least google searches did 2 years ago when I was doing daily repeat stuff. havent done it in a while)

Thanks, I see how that would work. My brother the IT guy said the best way is to set up an 'alert' in Google. I did a little digging and apparently not only does Google track you and target the ads to the profile they build on you but they also filter your search results. If you want the straight-up results you have to search in an 'incognito window.' Tomorrow I may try that out to see what actually happens. I do see that DuckDuckGo also has an 'alert' you can set up and it never tracks you.
