Another bull calf, born unassisted less than 2 hours ago, up walking, and already nursed. That momma is a grass eating, milk making, calf raising machine.
Awww, how cute, I want one. I wonder how many people impulse buy a baby cow? Congratulations on the new birth. I am one of the weird ones that equate people and animals, do you hug them?

No,. I don't 'hug' them and i don't do "cute" when it comes to livestock. They have their space and I have mine and I don't want them in mine. In 6 months, he'll weigh almost 3X what I do and I don't want him knocking or running me down. They aren't pets, especially intact bulls.

Nice!!! Just curious, what is the cost of maintaining a fully-grown cow per year?

Oh! I got this one... that means the bull still has his balls.
And I wonder why I cant get rid of this gut. I see a moving critter and 1st thing goes thru my mind is "meat?" if the answer is yes, the next thought is "how do I cook it"
