I often wonder how many people read the goings on in O/T

I post very rarely.

Yes, read O/T every day and do own a Fiero.

I hang around, I post, but I don't read half of what I reply to.

I never post....my evil twin got hold of my password and now I cant make him stop !!!

Wonder no more. The topic page lists the number of views, and the number of replies. I often pay attention to a thread on the ratio. One reply for every ten views seems to be a hot topic. Of course, a hot thread title, or, a thread subject interest of mine gets attention also.

Sometimes I get bored and read your posts, . Zing ! I will be here till I get banned, .

Every since I decided to start back working on my Fiero, I have been visiting the forum daily. Mostly just o/t, but I do check the mall to see if anything that interests me pops up

I often go to post, but then once typed I ask myself "Is it really worth it?" and then I often backspace out of the posting screen. I've been doing that more and more of late so while I read a lot of threads, I don't post in as many as I used to. Add in it's Fall and I get real busy this time of year and my post count probably reduced even more. But, I'm still kickin and pop in an occasional post.

yea man I get that. That is what I think is what goes through a lot of peoples thoughts.

I see it happen once in awhile where someone not very well known posts something and kinda gets trampled a bit.
But also I notice what they had to say was a little under thought and they were not able to back it up very well.

Some of these people in O/T are kinda jumpy to quash something and they will find any weak link in your wording or meaning.
I think it is an insecurity issue myself. That could be hard to deal with but I don't think that alone will get anyone to rate you negatively.
Being a blatant ******* will definitely do it or trolling on purpose.

There are several people that tend to disagree with the herd more often than not. They still have good ratings.
There are people here that are hard line serious right wing nuts and they are way in the red.
Myself I am an ******* occasionally and I disagree with most everyone politically so rating can't be that big of a deterrent. I'm still here.

I would really like to see different people with different views here. Take a chance. Start in easy.

Rarely are things as bad as you thought they would be. I mean sometimes they are a lot worse, I know, but this is not.

We could really use some fresh ideas and different perspectives.

But I also think there is another element in play.
Like dark matter, only it's human.
And it's aggressive...

Disagreeing isn't good enough.
There has to be jabs.

Taking an opportunity for mutual contemplation, and turning it into a moment to throw punches.
How much can we learn by beating someone down?

We might learn more by lifting someone up...
