I usually use desktop/Debian/Firefox at home, but if I need to kill a little time, such as waiting for a haircut, I will use smartphone/Android/Chrome. Firefox works just as it should. The smartphone is not as convenient, but will will suffice when I am bored.
Cliff does/did have a mobi version of PFF but most never bothered using it. Cliff said trying to upgrade the PFF software etc but he's got other issues to deal with.
In very short, Is a Programming error in the templates to make each page. PFF is HTML 4.x version without saying so on each page. Problem is All New Browsers get confused worse and often tries to use HTML 5 defaults because PFF program issues/problems. Is why you often see "illegal characters" errors as blank square or diamond ?.
Worse, Phones and Tablets default browsers are a lobotomize version missing a lot of features. They can and will cause problems to view many sites. So Try another browser.
OTOH My Cave is HTML 5 and has text zoom (right top, max text is 250%) makes easier to read on small screens w/o using local zoom that blows up everything. But My Cave, like PFF and many others, are not design to detect Mobi users. Most pages w/ pic's were written so old phone modems can DL fast etc so should not eat to much 3G/4G data.

Strangely enough, the smartphone seems to work better than the Tab. Probably just due to the functionality of the Tab. Not the forum, itself. I also have a Dell netbook, that I use occasionally.
Mostly laptop computer (WinX, Firefox), but sometimes my not-so-smart phone (Win8, IE). Funny thing is, if a page has a lot of photos or youtube videos on it, the browser in my phone will crash. The computer doesn't have that problem.
Mostly my home PC with Windows 10 64 and a 24" or 19" screen. If I'm out and about and have an opportunity to check and think to check I'll use my iPhone SE but don't often post from it.
