Some people aint gonna like history !!--but then, that can be re-written.

Anthony Johnson. Anthony Johnson was one of the first African Americans to have finished his services as an indentured servant and become a landowner on the Eastern Shore and slave-owner himself.

How about, blacks have a deep hate for whitey,, yet,, the reason their family members were slaves was because of their own black countrymen rounding them up, and selling them.. into slavery..
you, know like they still do to this flipp'n day.. but please address me as an AFRICAN american as I'm proud of my heritage... and Whitey is evil..

Maybe it is me,, but seems they are looking the other way about some big factors , to sell a narrative ..

How did that get to be THE reason? It's only A reason. There was another factor at work--white plantation owners that wanted to buy the slaves.

Aside from that, however, I do agree that many Americans are lining up with black nationalism and racial politics, and they are constructing their narratives by rewriting and distorting history in order to sell their particular agendas, to the detriment of the larger good.

Sorry, there
They were selling slaves before ther was an U.S.A. and are still in the business of slavery today. and we haven't employed use of slaves for at least the last 100+ years..

but carry on.

I live in Northampton county on the Eastern Shore of Virginia where this took place.

That's all, nothing profound.
