This was going to be one of the companies similar to SpaceX that was an early mover and shaker in the private space launch business--heard a lot about them and their K1 launch platform for awhile......... and then they faded.
It started off as
Rocketplane Kistler--had a NASA contract to deliver resupply ISS after the shuttles mothballed, couldn't meet financial benchmarks, and ended up filing Ch7 bankruptcy in 2010, and closing down their physical Oklahoma facility and relinquished their big hangar. In 2011, they came out of bankruptcy, started as a new company with a new name (Kistler Space Systems) and have a web page that doesn't seem to say much or be current. 2013
