I always felt that there was a big divide, small in years but vast nonetheless, between we who liked the Miura and those who liked the Countach. It was kind of like we (the Miura guys) liked the Rolling Stones and they liked Ozzy Osborne. It was an entertaining review. I like the way they described it as "cartoonish". The dash reminds me of the Fiero as did their description of the way it shifts.

I had to look up "Muria" when they mentioned it.
Guess I was just into "wedgy" cars...Lamborghini, lotus, stratus, delorean,etc...

As a kid I was into the Countach... I still am I guess.
But over the years my tastes swung over to the Muira.

That is the Countach I loved. I thought they ruined it with the 25th anniversary edition.

COUNTACH WAS MY DREAM CAR UNTIL I TRIED TO GET INTO ONE IN 2010. I don't fit.

Well ya. Demographics
The Lamborghini Miura 1966 - 1973.
The Lamborghini Countach 1974 - 1990.
I like them Both, and Panteras.

I sat in one and my head was right against the door window. No way you could wear a helmet for racing in one.

I still prefer the early ones without all the junk added on. How could you "rice out' a Lamborghini?

If memory serves me, all that added stuff gave it a higher top speed and probably started the ricer trend by way of imitation.
Edit: I can't find anything to support that, so I probably remember wrong. I thought I read that many years ago.

Two correct pronunciations : The Countach (in Italian, Piemonte local language, the right pronunciation is KOON-tuck, in English most commonly pronounced KOON-tash) series of Lamborghinis were among the most remarkable cars of their time.

Pretty much why most things are on ricers.
They started out as actually functional things on race cars and other cars capable of fast speeds.

Yup, wings and splitters work on 200mph cars, not so much on Honda Civics, lol.

The higher top speed came from a larger engine. The early ones were known as the LP400. Later ones came with the bigger motor were called LP500.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamborghini_Countach There's so much more here, it's typically Italian, never the same thing twice.
