So after the past 5 or 6 years of increasing lower back pain (including throwing it out completely at one point while putting dishes away, leaving me immobilized for a few days....still not sure exactly how I managed that) I am finally buying a better bed in the hopes it will help. I have for some time now suspected that a large contributor to my current back pain was the use of a mattress topper that was worn out and damaged.

At one point I had a girlfriend that I bought a nice 4'' thick memory foam topper for from Costco, sleeping on this was a dream so a few years later when my mattress was bit long in the tooth I decided to buy another memory foam topper for myself. This was nice initially but the one I bought turned out to be of a lower quality and over time it developed sag in the center. To make matters worse it was torn in the same spot while moving and it took a while for me to convince myself it would be best to get rid of it.

Fast forward to today. After doing a bunch of searching I have decided to buy a new mattress direct from the manufacturer online. I narrowed it down to being between Leesa, Casper, and Tuft and Needle. There are still other options but Leesa and Casper have a 100 day trial period and do not charge a return shipping or re-stocking fee so I though I would at least try one of these first. Tuft and Needle cost less and has a similar returns policy but you only get to sleep on it for 30 days. I have read many reviews and ultimately the edge support, improved finish, and not having what many describe as a harsh soft-firm transition point like the Casper edged the Leesa out in my opinion and I pulled the trigger and bought a king. I will be sure to review it when I receive it and give my first impressions and an update as things progress.

Does anyone have experience with any of these brands?

Also, as a shameless plug if you are yourself considering buying one of these and have already decided on the Leesa they have a referral program so if you use this link , I get a $50 rebate and you get a $50 discount. You can find other peoples all over the web as well as discount codes for as much as $75 off, I used the sleepopolis one for this "Sleepopolis75".

Note that Tuft and Needle, and Casper offer similar discount codes and Referral discounts/rebates and you can find them online as well.

Never heard of any of those. We got our current mattress from Verlo. They build it to your specs and deliver free. Didn't cost any more than a regular mattress, either. Look them up and see if they are in your area.

That is interesting. And they have both inner spring and foam/gel beds. Unfortunately I am in Texas though. What does one of those run? All the beds above cost less than $1000 up to and including a California king, and the Tuft and Needle is very affordable if all your looking for is a Twin or Queen.

Get one of these:

Use it when you need it.
It gets into those deep muscles and tells them to behave.

SO worth it.

So SOOOOO worth it.

It has saved me repeatedly over the past few years.

Good luck w/ yer bed
