You might be due some $$ back. The marketer, accused of fuzzy extra fees and charges has settled a class action suit and settled in a blanket agreement to pay $8 million back to fleeced customers who are hot under the covers over being bilked.

But Wait, there's more! Just pay the additional shipping, packaging and processing fee and we'll double your rebate to $16.00

I was considering buying some of that spray seal stuff a couple of years back so I was checking out the reviews online. I ran across a lot of comments about the extra charges. A $19 can of spray plus a FREE can and shipping and handling charges added about $60 for a grand total of around $90 for the two cans. They were saying that there was no information about the amount of extra charges until you clicked the Check Out button, but then it was too late. You also placed your order with the Check Out button and the display was only a confirmation and to allow you to print out your order.

I do have a Snuggie, though. Still in it's package nicely and neatly stored on the shelf in my closet. A Christmas Gift from my then-late-80 year old Mother.

When I saw them replace the bottom of a boat with a sprayed screen door and then launch the boat without the screen pushing up at all from the pressure at all it was obvious fake. Isn't false advertising illegal? I know that there is spin but that's outright fraud.

Almost ALL the "only available on TV" stuff IS actually sold in stores...and most is crap. There are a few decent ones, though...and sometimes, you can get them online (like through ebay) with free shipping and less hassles...

But most will try to sign you up for a ton of extra stuff if you try to order by phone...

I like Tnemic Coal Tar Epoxy. I know it will protect for at least 5 years while submerged.
