Not sure who Kevin Smith is but all I have to say is a picture is worth a thousand words.

Been there and done that with my best friend Bandit, almost three years ago...

Still don't know who he is Chuck, one of those celebrities that used to be called "the Beautiful People" I suspect, but too bad about his dog.

This is where I know him. " Later that year, he appeared as a hacker called The Warlock in the fourth installment of the Die Hard franchise, Live Free or Die Hard". I have that movie on my iPad and watch it every couple of weeks during my commutes.

He directed some good comedies. Dogma, the Jay and Silent Bob movies, Clerks, Mallrats, ect..

But iv been right where he is there in the pic. My 16 year old German Sheppard passed away right in my arms. His name was Moody.. He had epilepsy, and one day after going years without having a seizure, he suddenly had one, then had trouble breathing after, the vet came to my home and told me he was in heart failure and would pass soon. He gave him a shot to make him comfortable, and i just sat down and held him in my lap until he was gone. I literally balled my eyes out, but i made sure not to cry until he was gone, didn't want him to see me upset. I was 22 at the time. Dad brought Moody home for me when i was 7 years old, i spent my entire childhood with that dog by my side, took him everywhere. I now have his ashes in a nice little wooden box on my dresser..

Really miss that dog, he was such a great buddy to grow up with.

My dog Shelby was are first kid is the way I think about him. We had him for 13 years and we had four kids (human) that got to love him also. Its sad thing to go thru but I will always have a pet in my house until I leave this earth. Big Clark the dog and crazy cat Tiger are the source of entertainment now days.

That would explain it. I don't do comedy--it all seems like silliness.

Lol!
Go fig'er.

I suspect you don't become all-that-attached to animals, either.
Probably just don't pay, in your line of work.

My Dad believed in the old way of animals serving a purpose, too.
He wasn't much for "making friends", animal-wise.
