I need a stock (a stock stock preferably) for a New Haven 600CT 20ga pump. Also need the stock bolt and washers.
My understanding is that this shotgun is a store brand for Montgomery Wards and other big stores and is the same as a Mossberg 500.
will a 500 stock fit the new haven?

It should fit if it's just another 500. I had a store brand 500 I wish I had kept and it fit 500 furniture but I'm not sure if there is a difference between the furniture on a 12ga and a 20. If it will fit the 12ga furniture I have a synthetic stock and foregrip I'd like to replace with wood so I'd be willing to sell them.
Edit
Here is a stock and forend, I don't think the 12ga stuff will be interchangeable.

The fore grip probably won't work on a 20 ga but I think the stock will work on all bores.
There's a good country gunshop about 2 miles from me, and I think I will see if they have a pistolgrip for it if my wife can handle one--this is for her for HD--she can't use my mossberg 590 12 ga.

Can't use as in can't handle the kick, or can't use because you don't want her to ? As far as the stock goes try a local gunsmith and ask him, you would get a more knowledgeable answer as he works with these everyday.

Both--mine is too heavy and kicks pretty good for a woman 5'1" to handle--she has the same problem with the SKS and .270, so right now, she's stuck with .22 but that isn't going to provide anything but false security for her when I ain't around anymore.

A box stock stock stock? A top quality box stock stock stock, not a schlock box stock stock stock?

Wikipedia and the other pages I can find on the subject say the two guns are the same. I would proceed on that basis.
