So, according to the interwebs,you can charge your iPhone by putting it in the microwave for a minute and a half.
Ok, that not actually true, silly interwebs - most metal objects don't mix well with a microwave.(heh, and I saw comments to that the new + can't FIT in a microwave)

But some folks actually believed that you can use your microwave oven to charge your phone.(and tried it)
*sighs*

Other apple news- they have removed an update (8.0.1) after it was causing grief on a bunch if the newer iphones.

Most people dont have a clue how these "magical devices" work. So they will believe anything. It doesn't help that there ARE wireless chargers available, so easier to scam people...

( and technically you COULD use microwave radiation to do stuff like this.... just not with some random device )

The trick is the spinning. When the turntable is moving ALONG with the microwaves, the neutrinos get all extra excited.

When I read the title I thought maybe they made one that you just waved around and it would charge itself like those flashlights ! But then I thought about it and said kids today wouldn't to something that physical to charge anything !
