So,
If we upgrade an existing BlackBerry user to a new (BES 10) phone, it costs 99 cents for the device. If we upgrade them to a 'new' older (BES5)Bold, it costs 50 bucks.
That's nuts. But BES10 is "the suck", because none of the apps that our users would use has a version that works on BES10. There are only Android and IOS.(not counting "side loading Android")
Our carrier folks say demand is higher for pre-BES10 devices than the newer ones.
I'm gonna swap my BlackBerry with either an android or iPhone before the end of the year... I want to leave BlackBerry while it's still around, it'll be easier to mourn if I have been with a new device for awhile when I derezz the BESes...
