Wish I'd know that on Sunday...I'd have tried anything...I'd have put a nail through my hand if you'd promised me it would have worked...I was desperate!!! (in hindsight, I would have preferred the peanut butter as the first suggestion though ) They gave me meds to keep on hand for next time to stop the convulsions.

Just be glad it wasn't coughing. I had bronchitis for a couple of months and started to rip the muscles on my ribs from all the coughing. I finally had one good cough and ripped a muscle between my ribs and broke the cartilage holding the rib. A few days later I was all black and blue and looked like one of the walking dead. I now have a floating rib that I can feel pop whenever I move and it took over a month for all the black and blue to disappear. I still have a little tenderness where some of the blood pooled.
