Finally cut and donated my hair. After 7 years (and some not-insignificant prodding from a friend of mine) enough was enough. It's a pretty dramatic change - I keep reaching back for something that isn't there anymore. I need to scrounge up a recent "before" picture but it was long enough that I could hold it with my arm at full extension. Now the longest part is 3 inches.

This'll take some getting used to.

I look in the mirror and see the the fuzzy image of the guy I used to know. Then I put on my reading glasses and wonder who that old guy is. You'll soon get used to the new guy in the mirror, it's the old guy that's hard to get used to.

Yeah. Cut off about 2' of hair. If my scale is accurate, I'm now 2 or 3 pounds lighter just from that.

Good on ya' for the donation.
I thought about doing that if my hair is ever long enough, again. If...

I also donated my hair when I had cut it. I think it was a 33" braid

Were you at the 30th in Indianapolis? There were a few good ponytails there; well, one was Pat and his gray braid.

I was. Spent a good deal of time splitting between the northeast guys and MFF groups.

I would've been the guy in the RX8 that was wearing rather form-fitted clothing and aviators.
