Gor a few DLINK DAP-2553 from an acquisition. I am currently running one as a standalone AP. I am thinking about adding 1 or 2 more for full coverage. One of the options is has is WDS (WDS and also WDS with AP). Would one fo those be a good option? Or just set each AP as it's own with the same SSID and passphrase?

do not use wds... setup each AP, same auth, same SSID, but put each 2 channels apart or more, it will `hop` between AP's as needed to the one with strongest signal.
