I do and don't support this kind of thing. It looks like a pretty open and shut case. The guy was in a bar drinking and his three kids were left in a hot car while he did it. It wasn't someone else, he didn't forget about them, etc. Not much you can say in his defense, if anything. He lost custody of his kids and went to jail. Something tells me that's still not enough to get through his thick alcoholic skull. Do I think it's right that these people beat him for this? Not really. I certainly wouldn't have stepped in to save his worthless hide either. But do I think it's right that his only punishment would be a slap on the wrist? Don't support that either. So while I don't support vigilante justice, I also think this guy kinda got what was coming to him.

I'm extremely pro-life, but it does seem to be that there was a time when nature would cull the herd, and we've so insulated ourselves that we're on a path to 'idiocracy'.

We really do need to remove warning labels from things. The gene pool is getting quite diluted.

In this guy's defense -

1] It wasn't the typical "Hot Car" thing we see. It was at night. the couldn't have been deadly hot.
2] Being drunk, and confronted by a group of people who call the cops on you, and undoubtably prevent you from driving away, he probably started the fight himself.

Beyond that, I got nothing. And can't feel the least bit bad for this loser. Bad for his kids? Hell yes.

I guess think those folks who stopped him did the right thing.

I was one of those kids many many years ago that got left in a car while my mother sat for hours in a bar. The best thing in this whole ordeal is the kids are now safe from his drunken ass.
