Well Wednesday I left Cleveland Ohio on a trip to Michigan. The ride was part of the Michigan lake circle tour. I started the tour at my freinds house. I left Cleveland Wednesday and headed for my best friends house outside flint and Saginaw. Packed up the bikes and Thursday am we headed to muskegon. We took the lake express ferry a really cool experience. If anyone gets the chance its really nice. Little pricey but better than Chicago traffic. We got off the ferry at 620pm and headed to the Harley museum. Found it was bike night so we pulled in and enjoyed some bikes for a little bit than left for green bay. Spent the night in green bay then headed out to docs Harley Davidson to see his museum. Some real cool stuff there and its more like a garage. Its not like seeing all pristine museum cars its like seeing cruisers. After there we headed off to Mackinaw city. This was a real haul temps started to drop we crossed most the up in 60 degree temps at 55 mphs. Crossed the Mackinac bridge in high wind warnings my first time across real cool. Spent the night there than woke next day and headed to my buddies cabin. We took a ride through the tunnel trees and over to traverse city. Left traverse city and headed to the cabin which is out side of rose city. Spent the night there than headed for his place outside of flint. Next day i fired up and rode back to Cleveland. Rough math is around 1600 miles. Working on getting pics posted. Real cool ride but if we did again i would ad another day or two. Costs of places to stay where high so we crunched a little.

Great pics TStang!!
Everyone needs some downtime and a visit to other parts of the world.
What's the story on the engine in the wooden frame --the one with the lunchbox on the air cleaner?

Yeah, lodging just about everywhere is the biggest expense.
