To me, this whole thing is a bit of a joke--I was working the ramp at an FBO at YYZ during the SARS "epidemic" that killed tens of people in North America a dozen years ago (but it sure panicked a few hundred million )and I see the same thing happening again

So now it appears everybody and their cousin has gotten themselves so scared after having traveled they are imagining they have symptoms.

Agreed but you can't beat the entertainment factor of people that get themselves all lathered up. Sometimes you just can't resist reinforcing their beliefs. I know. that's not nice.

What's scary is the number of people that want something horrible to happen so they can benefit from it.

Well, ya DO gotta admit a scenerio like "the stand" WOULD work wonders to rid the planet of liberalism and special-interest-minority-entitlement and I am pretty sure all "bans" would cease to be in effect...

And it would be replaced with extreme fanaticism. That group will divide and start it all over again. It will be like nothing happened.
