I agree with all but one movie on this list that I have seen. I do take issue with their explanation for F&F 2. They say it didn't contain any of the cast members from the original. If they said it about F&F 3, I could let the bit part Vin had at the end go and agree. However F&F 2 did have Paul Wlaker in it and if he wasn't one of the original cast members then I don't know who else was. Also, if I remember correctly it has the FBI guy that Brian worked under in the original in it also. So, yeah that part of their explanation is just wrong. I agree the movie sucked balls, it's my least liked F&F movie, but come on really? None of the original cast?
As I was clicking through the list I was thinking "My god I hope Red Line made the list". Thankfully it did.
My one disagreement was Gone In 60 Seconds. Okay, yes it's a remake. Yeah, Mr. Cage has the acting range of a childrens thimble (something I don't even think exists). Pretty much if you've seen one character Mr. Cage has portrayed you've seen them all. And yes, the original was better at least to those who grew up with the original. But, for a remake that updates the cars and the current landscape/societal setting, I actually like it.
Other than that, I'll have to get a couple that I haven't seen yet but I'm guessing they are right and they will be flops. I have yet to see Need For Speed, and really had no desire to as I figured it'd be in the vain of Red Line but I guess I'll Netflix DVD it and see.

While funny and it does seem like they are constantly shifting, I've never actually counted. I mean yeah it seems like there is 10 different shifts happening in a race, but when those races are between 4 or more cars which I'm sure aren't all shifting at the same time with them showing different drivers shifting in different cars... And some of those races are through busy city streets where they are going to be up shifting and down shifting, I don't know if the amount of shifts for one driver in one car is really that many. Has anyone ever counted?

I have counted in f&f2 the beginning one car shifted 15 times. but when your going from 2nd to 3rd and doing what 30mphs and trying to get hard corner accels its gonna happen.
In the original F&F when you first see Paul Walker testing the Eclipse, he shifts at least 6 times (into 7th? gear) before spinning out. As the car is spinning, you can see the backup lights on.
re; F&F...........It's a friggn' MOVIE!!!!! Of course things are exaggerated, over-the-top, enhanced, blown out of poportion, faked, simulated, etc. It's called entertainment! If you want reality there is always Motorweek
There are a lot of movies on that list that I actually enjoyed watching for entertainment value. Everybody had an idea of what they expect in a movie, and opinions vary.
There are a lot of movies that got Oscars, that I really didn't like at all, for example.

That's probably why it spun out, he shifted into reverse rather than the magical 7th gear.
I know that list was seemingly about 'regular' automobile movies that flopped, but if I could rate what may be the worst "car film" for me that flopped on the big screen it would be Driven. I had a lot of high hopes for that movie in the late 90s when Sylvester Stallone was talking about making it. Then it finally got made. Then when I watched it I realized I probably just have the highest experience of utterly wasting just under two hours of my life since I've been born. I would gladly sit through all the F&F movies, Herbie Rides Again, and whatever other "car film" anyone wants to call bad before sitting through that piece of utter dog crap again.
There was one movie I remember, I think Madmax, filmed in Australia, where they showed a car with a supercharger that had a switch to turn the supercharger on.
