What led you to the presumption that I had not watched the video you posted?
.... or for that matter that the video I posted was irrelevant to the discussion, (which you would have known if YOU had actually watched the video I posted)
Mr. Whittle discusses his position that "liberalism is a mental illness", a discussion that I have heard many times before. In fact Mr. Whittle's premise is not original. The book entitled "Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder" by conservative radio personality Michael Savage was released on April 12, 2005
It is also a discussion that I, as a conservative, believe is rife with logical fallacy. It is also a very disingenuous attempt to denigrate ideas or beliefs with which one does not agree by simply proclaiming them to be the result of "mental illness" and thereby discarding them offhand without further analysis or debate.
Functionally, this "liberalism is mental illness" concept is no better than reaching an impasse in a debate and shouting at your opponent: "Well you're CRAZY so whatever you say doesn't matter!"
What I DO believe is that liberalism is fundamentally
IMMATURE THINKING and in support of that position I have often pointed to an excellent presentation by Evan Sayet to the Heritage Foundation some years ago entitled "How Modern Liberals Think"
Perhaps you will find this more "relative to the thread"
