Great idea, but only if you get in fresh in the shuck like that. I buy it sometimes frozen already shucked. I just put them in a microwave save bowl with a few teaspoons of water and a lid with a small vent (l leave one corner up). 3 mins each on high. Another way i do them in the RV is wrap a wet paper towell around them, 3 mins each. Ill have to try this when fresh corn starts selling around here everywhere on street corners next month.

If you carefully open the shuck and put some butter inside before microwaving, it's just absolutely delicious. Corn cooked in this manner has a much more natural taste as opposed to boiling.
