The local university has asked us to price an irrigation pump station for an athletic field as part of an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC). Problem is, to price it to them, we have to code everything using RSMeans coding numbers. We have the Site Work and Landscape book and can't find anything in it that even comes close to a pump station. We already have the price for the sub. We just have to find the right codes in Means. I'm thinking it might be in the Mechanical Means book. But I don't want to buy it just to find out it's not there either. Any thoughts, suggestions?

Around here that could cost very big money.
Off topic, I have some friends out there in SC. Water falls all the time, but for some reason it can't seem to be to be harnessed? To me that should be the question?

We already have the pricing from one of our subs. But we just need to present it to the university taking each item of the bid and breaking it down as to where they can find that particular item in the RSMeans book. We have the Site Work and Landscape Cost Data book, but I'd say 95% of the items proposed to us by the sub don't appear in that book. So I was thinking that the Mechanical book might have the items in it. But again, I don't want to spend $150 - $200 just to find out it's not in there.
