I'm looking for a camera that will snap pics and/ or take video when it senses movement. It should be able to sit on the top of the Fiero center console.

Just about any webcam can do that via software. You just have to decide how the camera will mount and where it will store the data.

A trail cam would work too.

X10.com has downsized from a lot of its products it used to have, but they still have some good stuff.

Keep in mind, that the heat from the sun could destroy your camera. If at all possible remove the cam, when not in use (Grarmin GPS should be remove too).

I have a USB audio recorder that works great, and also one of the pens with audio and video. The pen works great too for both. They dont have motion detection though.
