Father's Day sales are where it s at. Most BBQ grills are of similar build quality in the $100 to $200 range. They will get ya for a tank. Invest in a gauge. Nothing sucks rocks more than running out of propane mid steak. Hank Hill is the best person to speak about propane, and propane accessories.

I agree. Home Depot has a 2 burner for $99.00. I have also seen them sell for as low as $115.

If you are interested in a charcoal grill I recommend a Webber. They last a very long time and charcoal is not very expensive plus you can control the fire size quite well by placing the charcoal appropriately. They are also moderately priced and have almost no parts to deteriorate. I think that I bought a new grilling rack after around 10 years but just wanted new chrome instead of living with the old rack.

I was thinking something like the Weber Q series 1,000 2,000 ect. They are propane and have cast iron grates. The none cast iron grates don`t last very long.

I've got one that attaches to your trailer hitch. Has legs too. Does gas or charcoal. I bought a tank adapter so I don't have to use the 1lb propane cans. They were $70 at Sam's. I bought everyone they have. Give them as gifts to customers.

EDIT.

I grill a lot. I used to have a 4 burner, searing burner, charcoal, and smoke box grill. This one is SUPER convenient over my old big one, because I take it to work and the lake house and the farm and my front yard. I would still have my other one, but the elements were not kind to it. Neglect wasn't on it's side either. Stainless is the only way to go if it is going to always be subjected to the elements. Even with a cover, they just get beat up.
