No sense - common or otherwise . You can always recognize a genuine idiot because they will laugh after they almost hurt or kill themselves and never show ANY sign of embarrassment. I would have thought that the Director or some "manager" should have briefed these people when potentially dangerous items are on the show (?!). Even if not plugged in or loaded, potentially dangerous items have to be handled with respect, especially in front of an audience. Looks like the guys setting up the display weren't much better to aim all the guns barrel up.

The REAL shame is that they get paid - probably more than people doing Real work with responsible jobs. Glad i don't watch much TV

As I see it, the stupid people are the ones that put someone (obviously) with absolutely no training out there to help demonstrate whatever they were doing. I doubt the "bimbo" has ever seen a nail gun up close or handled one. I don't blame her nearly as much as the supposed expert who was standing beside her and who ever decided this was a good idea.

Would be similar to swimming with the dolphins then realizing that you are in the wrong pool and it's really the shark tank. I mean really, think about it.

what fkn moron thought it was a good idea to let someone who didn't know a thing about a nail gun to handle a Paslode nail gun on TV and not show them what end the nails came out of? That's like giving the same person a Glock WTF!

I had a kid over here the other day who said he was a welder and wanted to use my plasma cutter, sure he's a welder he has got to know how to use a plasma cutter, well after about 5 min of showing him how to use it I let him lose, while watching

guess I should know better I showed him how to run it, I explained stand off, I told him if the sparks are coming back at him it ain't cutting threw the steel, I ended up doing the cutting for him again for another 5 min. and explaining everything all over again. evidently he was dumber than a bag of hammers. because he still didn't get it and all he kept doing was scarring the steel and burning up tips.

Some people just shouldn't use power tools of any kind.
