Enjoy your retirement you deserve it. Don't forget to sign up for the selective service and health insurance when you get out 1st and 3rd rounds are on you.
Congrats, I retired 3 mos. ago after 28yrs on the job. At least you picked the best time of the year, I retired in the middle of the super cold winter we just had. It's going to take me 6mos. to clean the foot prints off the walls cause it was too d@@n cold out to do anything.

Welcome to the club! Soak in these last few months. Spend as much time with your family and long time buddies from the service. Time will go by quickly and you don't get those moments back.
Congratulations! I'm right behind you. I'll be retiring that same time frame next year from the Army. Enjoy these last months and thanks for being one of the 1/2 of 1% of all Citizens club! Soon you will have time to finish all those projects you have been putting off on that Fiero...

You're overseas right now, right? I'm assuming they'll move you back to your homestead location before you're "done", correct?

Everyone. Thank you for your well wishes. I have certified as an A&P Mechanic so I am looking in that arena. Somewhere in the Southeast is where we are looking.

82 T/A: Yes they are sending me back to the states and paying for it. They will hold my household goods for up to a year so I can find a job and settle down. Looking at Florida as a settle down spot.
