I guess they forgot to yell "clear". They needed to shock the other girl to restart her heart. CPR won't do it because of the way it was stopped.

There a good number of people I like to see put a BP cuff around there neck. Most of which are dumb enough to do it.

it is my understanding that paramedic defibrillators and civillian defribilators are different. They can force them to shock where as the civillian versions you cant and they are "smart" enough to know if they are placed properly or if they dont need to shock. At least thats how they trained me at my defib training for work, but that was at a holiday inn so what do I know.

Kinda disturbing video. I'd like to know what the back story was on that, and why there was such a calm person filming it in the first place. Comments on youtube seem to infer that its faked...

If they are so stupid they need a sticker on a blow dryer not to use it in a shower, then thats probably exactly where they should be using one.
