I picked this sucker up last week, it originally had walnut grips on it but I switched them out for acrylic grips with psalm 23:4 on it, its a sharp gun, have not been able to shoot it yet, its a Girsan.

It doesn't have an idiot scratch that I can see. Don't give it one.
Gotta love the 1911. It's the most comfortable pistol I've ever shot. It just feels natural and you can't beat a crisp single action trigger pull.

lol whats an idiot scratch.. Also its hard to see in the pics but the side of the slide is mirrored.

Congrstualations !!. I still remember my 1st one, bought it in CA back when ya could do that . Wasnt my 1st auto pistol (that was a Browning financed by the taxpayer and Captain Cannuk), but still one of the best.

Yep, as far as shooting goes, my 1911 is my favorite. It just feels natural. Mine is an RIA though, and it's very heavy for carry purposes. I hope to get a Kimber or aluminum equivalent that is much lighter than I currently have.
