The GOP will spend $10 million this year reaching out to Hispanic, black and Asian voters.

An internal review of the Republican Party released Monday concluded that the GOP must reach out to young, minority and women voters to change its current image as the “narrow minded” party of “stuffy old men.”

The Republican Party is seen as “scary,” “narrow minded,” “out of touch” and made up of “stuffy old men.”

It recommended that the party reach out to Hispanics, Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, African-Americans, women and young people by hiring more diverse staff and recruiting minority and female candidates.

“The Republican Party needs to stop talking to itself,” it also concluded. “We have become expert in how to provide ideological reinforcement to like-minded people, but devastatingly we have lost the ability to be persuasive with, or welcoming to, those who do not agree with us on every issue.”

I guess they will be posers to get the vote.

Is there any way you could have a different view than that?

With the liberal bias of the press in this country that has misrepresented the GOP , they must reiterate their positions on several issues.

Which is different in what way from when the Dems do it?
You don't think they actually care--other than influencing the votes---do you?

I agree on the view of the first paragraph(above). On the second paragraph, politicians of all ilk are nothing but "posers to get the vote."

Yes, the Dems won't rescue us from the Reps and the Reps won't rescue us from the Dems. Both parties are corrupt and owned. Anyone who thinks that either party will rescue us is living in fairyland. I have no hope and no answer. I do believe that if we continue as we have that we are on a downward doomed spiral.

$10 Million? Amateurs.

The GOP will continue to be irrelevant so long as they continue to try to appeal to specific demographics or react to Democrat accusations.
They have to have a clear presentation of what they believe in. They can only be relevant if they run on the issues.

I can go on for hours posting minority GOP office holders. The MEME is that the GOP office holders are all old White men. That is a fiction perpetrated my the media and repeated by their dupes.

The Christian prudes who dominate primary elections, those anti-choice, anti-science Evangelicals who used to be a part of the Democratic party (Carter Democrats), but they have found a space, influence and money in GOP politics, they are the ones that will forever alienate the Republican Party from the rest of mainstream America.

They are pushing for Jeb Bush, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee for the '16 Presidential election.

Perception. Perception. Perception. The GOP may have some token Minorities. The rule is by the aforementioned.

Considering 95% of the Senate is white and 19% of the House is minority, the same can be said of both parties, but that's not the "perception" you want to advertise.

There certainly not in California. Voters registered as Republicans are only 29% and no member of the party has held statewide office since 2006. In 2012 Democrats won supermajorities 2/3 in both legislative houses.

Oh 'ye of little foresight. The GOP talking to it's base is no different than the Dumbs talking to theirs. You say that like the Dumbs don't provide ideological reinforcement to the Dumb sheeple, . The Dumbs were zero persuasive in getting a single Republican vote on ObamaCare and did not welcome any disagreement on the crafting of the law.
Typical libertard tactic. Demean the opposition with rhetoric without substance.

Ah the irony. What self righteous prudes would you be talking about ? Help me out here. What is a prude ? One that proclaims to be morally superior ? Kinda' like how you proclaim to have the correct religious view ?

Why do you even care?

It doesn't matter to some people what the GOP does. They wouldn't be happy unless the GOP members were hanging from ropes.
I have a feeling that you are one of those.

If you really want to make a difference, go and fix your own party.
