like the cheap turbo's? I would think they are just as easy to build and would cost about the same as the turbo's they sell...

So, what's the difference between http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pro...em258bb2b923&vxp=mtr and a turbocharger? I always thought a turbo was something that spooled up with the exhaust gasses pushing it which caused it to push more air into the intake whereas a supercharger pushed more air into the intake using a belt/chain/gear (independent of the exhaust gasses/pressure).

it has a shaft sticking out the back for a pulley.

Exactly, its basically a gear/belt driven turbo... rather then the `roots` style that sits ontop the intake (like the m90's on the 3800's)
