Not a photo of a parrot--it's a painting. What did the painter use for a canvas?

Might be Photo Canvas (computer printed on canvas).

He means, look for the "blank"... if you look at the bird's body. It is photoshopped, but in a different way

It's not photoshopped. It's a legit painting on a 'different' canvas. There are photos across the internet about the artist, and even a behind-the-scenes video on youtube. Really cool stuff.

Eh... interesting, but I guess I would rather see a painting, vs a picture of a painting.... something seems to get lost with the the transition to a different medium. Sort of like looking at a picture of the Mona Lisa, or a picture of David. But that is just me.
