Yes, 'good used' fuel tanks are still available, BUT I believe shipping them is the 'real' issue IF it isn't 'new'.....
Larry Hubbert is one of these members who has and sell 'used' tanks and posted *this* recently:

The big problem is shipping them and what you need to do just to get the EPA permit to ship them because they are not brand-new fuel tanks.
The EPA has some very stringent and steep regulations where shipping these are concerned, as well as securing a legitimate permit to do so. Now should you get caught shipping a used fuel tank the fine is a killer, plus you can be subject to immediate arrest, and the tank is immediately confiscated as it is considered shipping Hazardous Materials. |
