Decades long lurker, first time caller! I scanned the rules several times, but If I did anything wrong with this post, let me know and I'll get it fixed.

Looking for $6500 OBO. Cash only. Fun car but I just don't have the time for it like I used to. Located in Tampa, FL.

Cadillac 4.9 v8 swap, 5 speed Isuzu manual (the shop swapped out the Getrag to save money). Runs great, pulls hard. Mileage is exempt due to the swap. It has received a LOT (and I mean a LOT) of new parts and work done since I've owned it. I've attached pictures of a list all of the parts. I have all the paperwork from myself, the original owner and the previous owner who I bought it from, including on the swap which appears to have been done by Fiero Factory in 2005.

Manual Steering, decklid and mirror control, but power locks, and windows.

Yes, it does still have the trunk, and yes the AC does work (and was converted to R134 as part of the swap)!

A few cons:

- There are flakes in the coolant. I've been trying to figure out where they have been coming from but I can't tell. I just run it without a thermostat and it's been fine.
- Has a choppy idle sometimes. I believe it's timing related but I haven't done a deep dive. Previous owner said it may be a custom cam, but I have my doubts.
- Fuel gauge doesn't read right, or needs work with the fuel pickup.
- Cosmetics but it looks fine from 5 feet.
- Needs an alignment. Gets a bit shaky at higher speeds.

I would still consider it a project car but it does run, drive, and stop just fine.

Also comes with tons of parts, including a (nearly) full F40 6 speed swap kit, and an Allante intake setup.

Not interested in trades, though if you have a cool manual wagon (Outback XT, V70 T5, etc), I may be interested.

Happy to answer any questions when I'm able.

Very nice Fiero. The 4.9L has 275 ft lbs of torque and 200 HP. That kind of power will give the driver an experience but the light duty Isuzu raises some questions. I won't comment on value as there are a lot of pluses in this Fiero but I've always viewed swaps as a "matched" system and the potential buyer will probably have to upgrade the transmission.

I agree, I'm a bit disappointed they swapped out the Getrag. But, it's been handling it for the last 20 years with no indication it was ever swapped again, so I guess it's holding up okay so far.

Thank you!
