Hi, I'm interested in buying a car that some sucker has already done the 3800 swap. JK, I have nothin but respect for you, and maybe someday I'll have the wherewithal to do what you've already done. In the meantime, I'd like:

Manual transmission, prefer F4
Near Washington state, USA
Decent body, low rust
Other mods?

Thank you for looking!

Turns out, I'm thinking about selling mine. '88 GT 3800SC with a 4T65eHD and a few other modifications...

What do y'all think of it?

I think the buyer should jump all over it.

Yes he does, though a true 4T65e HD is tough to find, and that car looks like it's in turn key and show shape (depending on interior and how clean wiring and plumbing was done).

Might be worth considering depending on the asking price, unless the OP is extremely patient (and depending on how much interior/exterior/cleanup work they do or do not want to do).

Considering that "Manual transmission" was the very first feature the OP mentioned, I suspect he wouldn't care if this was the only 4T65e HD equipped Fiero on the planet. At least that's how I'd feel.

I did notice the manual transmission desire, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway. Personally, I like the auto. You can't physically shift faster, and at WOT that could be an issue. Thought about paddle shifters, but considering most of the time would be spent in 2nd gear, didn't do it. I'll take some pics today and post in a new thread, as I am looking for some ideas.

bajacondor - If you're close and just want to check it out, let me know!

Hey, for anyone who wants an automatic (especially with an upgrade over the factory 3-spd), your GT would be excellent option. Nice lookin' Fiero!
