Keith made these GT taillight covers for a couple of years and was eventually told by GM that he could no longer use the Pontiac name on them. He could have easily eliminated the Pontiac logo and just put another name there (like GT) or left the center section black. Instead Keith after he made some money, just closed up shop. .

Not True, he lost money...

kgoodyear:
The {GM} royalties I had to pay far exceeded the profit from the sales. / It took me going out of business to get people to actually buy the lenses. I am now paying off back royalties because GM cut me a break because it was never their intention to cause me to loose money. / GM has a minimum 2 year contract and there would be no expectation that they would be sold in the quantity and the time necessary to get a ROI. I am afraid it is a sad situation I should have seen coming sooner. The good news is the ones I have sold REALLY make the cars look great and those that are hording them are going to make some serious profit when they sell them.

I have 1 set of Keith's decorated lenses from a later batch and one set of decorated lenses from his Original batch, as well as a set of his clear lenses from his Original batch. All of these are still in their original shipping cartons and I can be persuaded to sell several sets of them if anyone is seriously interested in purchasing them. I also have several sets of the original housings as well as several sets of the inner lenses pieces available all of these are out of 1988 GT's and in excellent condition. If interested please contact me directly. Thank you and have a great and safe Holiday weekend.

I am sorry to hear that Keith lost money on the lenses. He's a good guy and didn't deserve this . This whole situation could have been solved by shutting out GM and just eliminating the Pontiac name. He could have put GT there. IMO an all black center section wouldn't look too bad. Except for the name its all black now.
