Looks like it also fits some full size Chev/GMC trucks. https://www.ebay.com/p/6560...657f1771e3d0a0be64f1

Brand-New GM 10078250 Mirror Assembly, Inside Rear View
https://www.gmpartsgiant.co...ror-as-10078250.html

On eBay: 3 results for GM 1007825

*10078216 was replaced with 10078250 on April 1, 1987 / 00919723 is interchangeable with 10078216

----------------------------------------------

FYI on the Fiero Inside Rearview Mirror Designs which came with two different mounting styles:

'84-'86 / GM 918583 {0091858 was discontinued 2009}
'86-'88 / GM 918656 {00918656 was discontinued 2012}

The Difference: the size of the mirror 'channel' which slips on the glued 'button' on the windshield.
These original mirror 'channels' can be 7/8" or 1" at its widest point.

From my '88 OEM Rearview Mirror:
Mirror opening for the 'button' at its widest point is 1.0"
Windshield 'Button' at its widest point is 0.970"

I have a "spare" mirror removed from an 88 Mera (GT) if you cannot locate one closer.

I have several mirrors out of 88 GT's and Formulas that work fine, however the problem is the mirror lens/glass has started to discolor a bit around the edges.

I am also not sure if a new mirror lens/glass is even available in the aftermarket to fit the original housing. I didn't see any (or I missed them) on The Fiero web pages. Does anyone know where a new lens/glass could be purchased or is it possible to take the old mirror to a glass and mirror shop and have a new one cut and installed? I will have to look into that next week.

I appreciate everyone who has responded, but I really want an original 88 mirror. I am aware of the typical "same as" mirrors available, but I'm sort of an "original nut." You know, the kind that insists that the bolt has to go through the bracket in the same direction that it did during assembly at the factory :-) I'm surprised that someone hasn't figured out how to "re-glass" a broken mirror of this kind.

What is wrong with the one you have ?

I searched for reglassed mirrors and several options turn up.
