Thanks for the vote of confidence Bob....much appreciated.

Yes, those are mine, I'm at least 99.9% positive...I would say 110%, as I'm sure they are, but this is the "net"...and just about anything one can imagine is not only possible...but probable....especially with the advent of "AI"!
I'm guessing the customer did the cutting of the scoop openings on the passenger side panel, as it doesn't look like it was done the way I do it, and in addition, if I'm going to cut them out...I generally finish the job. Other than that, I can't really speak to how it was cut out, or why the drivers side panel is not done at all. Just wanted to point out, I don't think I cut the openings you see. Not saying there's anything "wrong" with what was done, only that I don't believe I did it.
I've made more than a few of those particular panels, (ribbed IMSA), while I was still in operation, and those must be from quite a while ago, as in the more recent ones I did, (like anything from the last 5-8 years or so), I generally laminated one of my business cards onto the backside of the panels.
So just verifying that I'm relatively certain, I made those panels, and that I always considered that particular style, (the ribbed), sort of "European" looking, while the open style more American or "hot rod" looking.
Trivia: I actually made the ribbed panel plugs and molds first, after finding just the ribbed portion among the stuff we, (Doug Kinney of Fierowarehouse and I), had from Jim Sutter's operation, IRM that Doug bought out in the early 2000's. Not complete panels, just the ribbed section in sort of a "square". Took them and grafted them into a set of stock quarter panels, created the plugs and took the molds from the plugs. Then my son, Anthony, ( Reality on Pennocks), asked if I could make them without the ribs....hmmmm...yea, so for a while I made some "plugs" that fit into the recesses in the ribbed molds to eliminate the separations, and made "open" IMSA panels that way. Then I took a set out doing it that way, and turned it into a plug and made the molds to produce the open style IMSA panels....like I said....just a little "trivia".

HAGO!
