We have 2 88 GTs and an 87 GT project cars (all V6 and automatic) plus misc parts for sale. Looking to get about $4000 for the 3 cars. All 3 have valid Texas titles. The cars are just north of Austin, TX.
I am getting way too old to be crawling around under Fieros. Both 88 GTs were daily drivers before being parked. The red one is a stock GT. The white one has a Camaro 3.4l conversion. The red one got parked because the right rear caliper won't adjust. I have at least one rebuild kit that can renew that caliper.
Each of the 88 GTs was in an accident. The red one got hit from behind, so the trunk is slightly mushed in and the bumper supports are bent really badly. Not sure if this can ever be repaired/replaced. I was being inattentive/stupid one day on the way home and submarined under the back of an SUV in the white one. The radiator support piece is bent. I am of the understanding that this just bolts on and off. Since a Fiero is drivable without body panels, this one could be driven by taking off the nose if you don't mind driving an ugly car :-)
I have a replacement rear bumper for the red one (replacement is black) and a replacement hood for the white one (new hood is red). The nose for the white one seems to be intact. Oddly, the rear urethane bumper from the red one is stretched just a little from the accident with spider cracks in the paint but otherwise, you might not know it was in an accident! When I got hit, the F150 pushed me all the way through a major intersection right in front of the police cruiser I stopped for. He peeled the front bumper off his truck before he left!
The silver 87 GT was purchased as a parts car. It has a stock 2.8l. The previous owner was doing a project with it, but didn't get very far. The interior needs a lot of work to be good again. I entertained the idea of a Ferrari conversion before all my medical stuff happened. Now it probably just needs to be a parts car. The previous owner said he had been using it as a daily driver before we bought it, though.
The white one is the only one with good tail light assemblies. The red and silver ones have damaged left tail light assemblies.
