I don't have that you need; but can you please enlighten me about what you're calling as "backing plates"?

I'm only guessing that you're looking for front dust shields; try member Larry Hubert and send a PM asking if he has any '88 shields in his warehouse.....

Some people call them dust shields. Do you know Larry's username? Car parts doesn't have any.
