I have been calling every parts house I can find looking for Comp 802-12 lifters for my engine build.

So far, nothing.

I am open to alternatives. Let me know what you have.

Have you tried calling Comp Cam direct? That is how I acquired my parts a couple years back.

Seems to me that most people recommend using GM lifters, even with aftermarket cams. They seem to hold up better.
YMMV, of course.

I did. Nothing until January and even then I doubt it.

Super bummed.

Wellllll... I looked at Summit, Jegs and Rockauto, and don't see any GM/Delco pieces. Sorry.
I think mine came from Summit, but I don't remember, any more.
Summit has some labeled "Mahle Original". Don't know exactly what that means, however.

Man, that does stink. I remember having to wait on some pushrods but it wasn't that long of a wait.

Ordered some AC Delco 5232720 lifters as they are speced for alternates in the 60V6 speed manual. And now we wait.

Also ordered some ISKY 222HY lifters. Both are also for SBC/BBC HD applications.

Semi-OT,
I convert to the roller cam block w/ Fiero heads, etc... So I use the stock roller lifters for the newer v6/60's ... Are there any high-revving versions of those?

No idea.

But in other news the AC Delco parts have shipped. We'll see how this goes.
