Over the years many versions of the Getrag were made. They were used on front-wheel drive transverse engine applications including the Chevrolet Cavalier, Pontiac Sunbird, Pontiac Grand Am, Chevrolet Beretta and the Oldsmobile Achieva in addition to the mid engined Fiero. Most of these Getrags were nearly the same as on the Fiero and will bolt right in. During 1990 to 1991 they were also used on Pontiac Grand Prix's and Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme's w the quad four engine, with a different bellhousing and the same internals.
Note that the Getrag applications are far wider than on the Fiero. As such your hunt for parts can be narrowed down to many cars and just not one. As a side note ,it is rumored that the later Getrags are stronger than the Fiero units
