Hi, so I do electric car conversions, and I have a transmission adapter plate and a bunch of other drive-train components for a pontiac fiero but I hate the way the fiero looks, especially the late models that are more common, but I love the chassis and mid mount transverse engine , so I was looking for a fiero body kit, or even better, a mera

I have a budget of 10k$ for a car I would be able to drive back to New Orleans, I've considered 3d printing medium sized body parts and snapping those on but I have no idea where to start

An example of what would be going in the car can be seen here with 1985 nissan sentra I recently completed (5 speed, front wheel drive)

You are not likely to get a decent driveable Mera for $10k. However, If you can do fiberglass work I know where one can be had very inexpensively. Note that the engine and transmission have been removed but it is a roller.

Try searching all of Craigslist, use Pontiac Mera or Fiero kit car or Fiero Ferrari and maybe Ferrari replica. One will show up occasionally, that's how I found my Mera several years ago.

Not mine and more than you want to spend but the reality is that Mera's are rare.
