I am looking for a Formula, and this would seriously be in my garage today if I could still use my left knee, but alas, I cannot.
So, because I always think of you guys when I find stuff like this, here is a link to the craigslist ad and a picture of it.

https://rockford.craigslist.../cto/6008790425.html

Edit: 2/19/2017 updated with new link I found yesterday, c'mon, don't make me buy it!

I will see if they can send me some more pictures to post here.

This is too nice to pass up even though I have not seen it in person...... yet, but I have a gut feeling about it.
How much would new knees for me cost?

In 1993, they told me $16K to replace my knees, but there were other things involved. I think it's about $3K per knee, now. The problem is, you're out of commission for a few months. The recovery is a pain. One of my clients replaced his. Both at the same time, and his is in his 70's. The peoblem is, your imsurance probably won't cover it, unless your knees are totally dead. You'd have the cost of the knee replacements and appertertenant costs, plus the loss of pay while you can't work. And you have to find a good surgeon, so the job isn't botched.

Hmmm, you make it sound so....... enjoyable!
LOL, I think I will stick with an automatic for the Formula purchase after reading that...

Oh I can still shift, its just not that much fun anymore after an hour or two, so on with the hunt!
I do have a couple "lined up" and just need to pick the right one to add to the .... how did you put it,....... the "herd" or was it hoard???. heheeheh

Someone buy this Formula before I make an offer and it sits in my garage begging me to take it out with it's sad little Fiero eyes.....
5k for a low mileage Formula really is not that bad is it?

I have no idea where your cost information came from, but IMHO it is incorrect. I have had two separate knee replacements in the past four years and the total bill was somewhere in the $30-$40 k for each knee. I do have decent insurance but my deductible at the time was about $3k so I did pay some out of pocket money for this work. If I did the surgery now I would only have a $1k deductible so that is an improvement. I have never had any issue with the insurance company covering any one of my six separate knee surgeries. I do agree that finding the right specialist surgeon for the work is the key to a successful operation. You need someone who specializes in this specific surgery and does not just occasionally perform it. Without that extra experience you are playing Russia Roulette with your knee functionality.

Holy cow! Much better price here--before AHCA.

I can walk--I just sound like a locomotive if I try to run, and it's painful. I'll live with it, at those prices.

That Formula is nice. Yep, your hoard herd.

I see nobody has taken an interest in this Formula since the first time I brought it up.

Back on Craigslist today.

https://rockford.craigslist.../cto/6008790425.html

50,000 mile anything that is 29 years old is very hard to find.
This one looks to be rather well maintained also.
Yes, I still look.

Has anyone seen this car yet? I am thinking about going to look at it. But it's kind of a drive for me...

I have not seen it myself.

Judging by the pictures I have seen of it, and having emailed the owners a while ago and their responses, it is legitimately a very nice 50k Formula.

I would have gone myself if it was an automatic and I did not have my GT already.
