I'm preferably looking for a rust free 1984 automatic Fiero with a bad engine or transmission. I'm wanting to swap a low mile drive train I've removed from an 84 automatic Fiero into the donor car. Absolutely needs to be free of any major frame rot/rust areas. Prefer this to be around the Michigan area as well~

Let me know what you have or if you know of something~

I have THE PERFECT 84 for you but it's in southern MS. Wanna take a road trip?

I live in MI, and I don't think you'll find anything local that's not just a pile of brown goo. Mine came from Oregon, not a spot of rust anywhere other than minor surface rust. Even the nuts and bolts have come right out without a fight.

Already rebuilt two solid frame Michigan Fiero's. It's not easy, but they're out there. It's not worh the $$ to transport something in, not for this project anyway. So it really needs to be in the area pretty much.

Are you still looking?
Would this work for you?

1988 fiero notchback. 4 cyl. Duke & 5 speed. Runs.
- It is solid but has some surface rust and scaly rust. Not rusted through anywhere. Not the type of rust I would expect in a Michigan car. No trunk rust.
- Runs but the clutch isn't working so I haven't driven it.
- no door key.
- no AC or power accessories. Plain Jane.
- alternator froze up.
- paint is rough & has the typical clear coat peel.
- headlights work.
- brakes work.
- good wheels, bad tires.
- Send your email if you want pictures.
- Make offer

Sounds similar to my first Fiero. Drove that bugger for 12 years and put a 100,000 miles on it. It came from Texas via Pittsburgh. I drove it ALL year long. Rustproofed and constantly washed during the winter. It didn't have any rust through situations.
