Sender unit out of 86 gt v6 without pump . Help me clean my garage out so the wife will be happy to see fiero stuff cleaned up.

I thought the fuel sending unit on the 88 was different than other yrs but I could be wrong.

no it was a mistake on my part for putting that up like that. I cant fix it . sorry

The different sending units will fit other tanks. The only difference is how the fuel lines coming out of the sending unit are bent. The 87-88 V6 units have the vent line bent a certain way for the expansion tank, and the 85-86 V6 units are bent another way because they didn't have an expansion tank. The main fuel lines on both match up with all years.

I just installed an 86 Sending unit in an 87 tank, which is installed now in my 85 LeMons race car sans expansion tank.

thanks for the info sir .. well with that said people can make there own choice. if there want to try in in other years . I know it came out of my 86 gt.
