I did use a pair of these on a Formula this summer - fit fine, tight, looked like standard replacement ball joints. Moog K5297's are $29 each on ROCK AUTO.

I second this wholeheartedly. IMHO, the 1" lowering balljoints give the (otherwise stock) '88 suspension the perfect angle and fender gap.
